The Brookhaven Friends of Music is pleased to present concert pianists and transdisciplinary artists Jung Mi Lee and Jon Sakata at 3:00 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming. The program includes their 4-hand arrangement of the third movement of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, followed by Schubert’s Sonata in C Major, D. 812 (“Grand Duo”).
Jung Mi and Jon have taught at Phillips Exeter Academy since the mid-1990’s. They have performed and creatively worked at diverse engagements around the world including Berlin, Helsinki, Tallinn, Shanghai, Wuhan, Xi’an, MIT, Williams, Goethe-Institut-Boston, Tufts, Carnegie Mellon and many others. Last February, they were invited by New England Conservatory to be two of the featured artists in the landmark Jordan Hall concert memorializing the late pioneering American composer and NEC icon, Robert Cogan.
