BFM Concert: Zefira Trio (violin, cello, piano)

The Brookhaven Friends of Music welcomes back the Zefira Trio: Olga Patramanska-Bell (violin), Ashima Scripp (cello), and Eleanor Perrone (piano).  Their program opens with Jennifer Higdon’s Piano Trio in two movements, Pale Yellow (meditative and pastoral) and Fiery Red (energetic).  A poignant Ukrainian Folk Song arranged by Margaret Boswell Senyshyn follows, and then the elegiac Piano Trio in g minor, Op 15, in four movements, by Bedřich Smetana. Last of all, an upbeat, jaunty Jazzical by Ilan Rechtman. Join us at 3:00 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming.
