CL Flick: The Man Who Would Be King (1975) will be shown at 7:30 pm in the Large Meeting Room. Legendary director John Huston adapts Rudyard Kipling’s short story about Daniel Dravot (Sean Connery) and Peachy Carnehan (Michael Caine), two bored British soldiers stationed in India who travel to a mountainous Middle Eastern kingdom in search of riches and power. Embarking on the adventure of a lifetime, they con their way into becoming deities in Kafiristan before losing it all. The film earned four Oscar nominations. Rated: PG.
