The bus departs at 9:30 am for a trip to the Addison Gallery of American Art to see the exhibit: Alison Elizabeth Taylor: The Sum of It. Consisting of approximately 40 large-scale single panel works as well as a room-sized installation, this exhibition traces the evolution of the artist’s practice. Known for her daring and inventive fusion of marquetry, the centuries-old art of wood inlay, with gritty and provocative subject matter, Taylor tells tales that are unequivocally modern.
