The bus will depart at 10:15 am for a trip to the Holy Trinity Armenian Church in Cambridge for the Thursday Morning Talk series that benefits Mount Auburn Hospital. This week’s speaker is Catherine Grace Katz: “The Daughters of Yalta: The Churchills, Roosevelts and Harrimans, a Story of Love and War.” In her book, Catherine tells the story of three intelligent young women who accompanied their famous fathers to the Yalta Conference in 1945. It is a singular take on the history of the Yalta Conference, through the eyes of the three notable, often overlooked, daughters who supported their famous fathers, the “Big Three”, and contributed in heretofore undocumented ways. The book is grounded in telling detail and marvelous personalities. Approximate return: 12:30 pm. Fee: $10.00/transportation. Admission ($20.00) is on your own and payable at the door.
