The bus will depart at 10:15 am for a trip to the Holy Trinity Armenian Church in Cambridge for the Thursday Morning Talk series that benefits Mount Auburn Hospital. This week’s speaker is Lecolion Washington: “Reimagining Excellence in Community Music.” Lecolion is the Executive Director of the Community Music Center of Boston. As a bassoonist, Lecolion has performed solo recitals and master classes at universities all over the world. After over 20 years as a performing musician and 15 years as a music professor, he has established himself as a leader for the next generation of arts entrepreneurs. He has been a staunch advocate for the relevance of music as an agent for social change. Approximate return: 12:30 pm. Fee: $10.00/transportation.
