This week’s speaker is Seth Mnookin on The Medicalization of Trauma from the 17th Century to Today. Seth Mnookin is an American writer and long time journalist. He is the Professor of Comparative Media Studies/Writing at M.I.T., and he was a Guggenheim Fellow in 2019-2020. All three of Seth’s books have been on the New York Times best seller lists. He has written for the New York Times, Vanity Fair, The Washington Post, Slate and the Boston Globe. Approximate return: 12:30 pm. Fee: $10.00/transportation.
