Brookhaven residents know that achieving and maintaining a high level of functional mobility leaves additional energy for activities and events beyond essential daily needs. Brookhaven’s fitness program promotes functional mobility by helping residents increase their physical capacity to perform normal everyday activities safely and independently without undue fatigue. A glance at our Fitness Calendar will reveal a variety of programs that address strength, endurance, flexibility, and balance.
The fitness team also performs annual fitness assessments. Residents can use the assessment results to modify their current fitness program to increase performance. Residents that want a little extra motivation work with our personal trainers in addition to the participating in a rich variety of fitness programs.
