The AHA! Lecture series presents resident Ann Wyman on Living in Nigeria 1967-68 at 11:00 am in the Performance Hall and streaming. Little did she know when she took her ten-month-old baby to Lagos Nigeria, that two weeks later a civil war would be declared in the country. She will reflect on observations about neo colonial life and traveling in West Africa. Looking back with a 55-year perspective, she’ll share lessons about British colonialism, and how the war affected the future of the country.
