The AHA! Lecture series presents resident Rebecca Valette on Clitso Dedman, Navajo Carver at 11:00 am in the Performance Hall and streaming. Clitso Dedman (1879-1954) led an amazing life as railroad mechanic, stone mason, trader, builder and blacksmith. At age sixty, bedridden and suffering from arthritis, he began carving Yeibichai dancers, thus pioneering a new Navajo art form.
