The Art Committee welcomes you to their next film presentation; All Me: The Life and Times of Winfred Rembert (2011) will be shown in the Large Meeting Room at 3:30 pm. African American artist, Winfred Rembert, chronicles his extraordinary life, through his autobiographical paintings about growing up in the Jim Crow south and through a spoken narrative that is equally rich and colorful. When Rembert begins to achieve recognition as an artist in the world of elite galleries and museums, he realizes that what he really wants is to share his achievement with friends and family back in Georgia, who may have once thought that he was never going to amount to anything.
