The Brookhaven Friends of Music presents five musicians (string quartet plus bass) from A Far Cry at 3:00 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming. Their program, “Animal Banter,” is described as follows: “Chamber concert meets dance party at this playful afternoon performance featuring contemporary works curated with your inner animal in mind. Unleash the beast within and lose yourself in this mélange of Classical beats, surrendering to the call of the wild.” According to Crier Jae Cosmos Lee, “All of the pieces were written in the past few decades and touch on the more primal aspects of human nature. I wanted to create a concert that was more visceral and felt more in your body, less in your head.” Join us for this intriguing program, performed by the artists of A Far Cry.
