The Brookhaven Friends of Music is pleased to present versatile pianist Virginia Eskin at 3:00 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming. Her program, titled Riches to Rags, reflects her championing of women composers and her outstanding performances of ragtime and George Gershwin. Most intriguing on the program is a Canon composed by Anne Boleyn while she was imprisoned in the Tower of London. Virginia Eskin is well known for her programs that are a mixture of old and new, serious and light – pleasing audiences throughout New England.
