The Brookhaven Lecture Committee is pleased to sponsor a lecture by Linda Greenhouse entitled, How the Supreme Court Lost the American Public at 7:30 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming. Greenhouse will talk about ways in which the longstanding positive relationship between the court and the public has been undermined during recent years because of decisions taken by the conservative super-majority. She will discuss how familiar views about public opinion and the court no longer apply, and why we as citizens should care about these developments.
