CL Lecture: Laura Zoll – Bach and Back will be at 11:00 am in the Performance Hall and streaming. Journey back in time as we explore 1,000 years of musical brilliance. Starting with the Baroque giant Bach, we will trace a path in history through the Renaissance genius of Monteverdi, and finally consider the Medieval magnificence of Gregorian chant and the troubadours. Along the way we will feast on the lush beauty of music manuscripts through the ages. Laura Zoll is a Medieval musicologist who revels in sharing her love and knowledge of early music.
