Cellist Cherry Kim and pianist Han Nah Son will present a concert at 7:30 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming. Recognized for her “poignant lyricism, scope and bigness of her sound and expressive gestures,” cellist Cherry Kim has performed in the US and internationally as a recitalist and chamber musician, and as a soloist with the Plano Symphony Orchestra, Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra and the Fall River Symphony. Having performed across the world, pianist Han Nah Son is widely recognized as a captivating and inspiring musician. Han Nah Son has performed at municipal concerts in Russia, Germany, Italy, France, Thailand and USA. She appeared as a guest pianist for National Public Radio WBUR On Point and also has been casted as a musician for Michael Frayn’s contemporary play Copenhagen at Central Square Theater in Cambridge. The duo will play pieces by Chopin and Franck.
