Join us at 7:30 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming for a concert by Kyra Zhao, piano and Jacky Ho Yin Li, horn: A Musical Tribute for Peace, Love and Hope – Essential Romantic Music for Piano and French Horn. Kyra Xuerong Zhao has received a BM and MM in Piano Performance with full scholarship from Mannes College of Music; She also received full tuition grant in Artist Diploma in Piano Performance from Yale University School of Music, as well as received the full scholarship for her D.M.A in Piano Performance from Boston University College of Fine Arts. Jacky Ho Yin Li is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Horn at Boston University, studying with Eric Ruske covered by the CFA scholarship. Performed as principal horn under the baton of Bramwell Tovey, in the Boston Symphony Hall, Jacky has also performed under such conductors as Marin Alsop, Ken-David Masur, James Burton, Joshua Gersen, Francisco Noya, Jonathan McPhee, and Benjamin Zander. During his residency in Boston, he performed with orchestras such as the Symphony New Hampshire, Allentown Symphony Orchestra, Du Bois Orchestra, Quincy Symphony Orchestra, Boston Civic Orchestra, Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.
