Join us at 2:00 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming for a Health and Wellness Talk by the Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. They will cover the various forms of hearing losses and how they impact communication with persons who may be Deaf, late deafened, hard of hearing and deafblind; assistive technology options and effective communication strategies; and considerations for hearing aid and cochlear implant use as well as requirements of entities to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, specifically as it applies to reasonable accommodation and the provision of communication access for events open to all residents.
