The bus departs at 1:00 pm for a trip to the Boston Public Library’s Central branch in Copley Square. On the National Register of Historic Places, the library opened in 1852 as the first free, publicly-supported municipal library in America. Take a walk around to admire the beautiful Art and Architecture of the library. View the display of collections from the Library’s Special Collections Department. Approximate return: 4:00 pm.
