The bus departs at 11:00 am for a Let’s Do Lunch Trip to Woodman’s of Essex in Essex. Over 100 years ago, Lawrence “Chubby” Woodman invented the fried clam. Ever since then, Woodman’s seafood restaurant has been serving up hearty portions of seafood and memories to generations of loyal customers! Located in Essex, MA, on the stunning New England coast, they’re open all year round. Try their award-winning clam chowder, fresh lobster and locally harvested steamed clams. Most of the menu items are gluten-free, with plenty of tempting options for families and kids. Approximate return: 3:00 pm. Fee: $20 plus the cost of your lunch choice.
