Cellist Jiyoung Lee and pianist Soyoung Sarah Yang will perform a concert at 7:30 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming. Jiyoung Lee holds Bachelor’s degree from Curtis Institute of Music, Master’s degree and Artist Diploma from The Juilliard School. Her teachers include Peter Wiley, Timothy Eddy, and Joel Krosnick. Currently Ji Young is pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts at the New England Conservatory with Laurence Lesser. In the fall of 2021, Soyoung Sarah Yang completed a Doctor of Musical Arts majoring in collaborative piano at New England Conservatory with her dissertation titled, “Death and Nostalgia in Francis Poulenc’s Songs: A Chronology of Loss and Catalogue Raisonné.” At New England Conservatory, she also earned a Master of Music and Graduate Diploma in collaborative piano, studying with Vivian Weilerstein, Jonathan Feldman, and Cameron Stowe. Ms. Yang received her Bachelor of Music in piano performance from McGill University.
