The Brain and Mind Lecture Series continues with The Mind at 4:30 pm in the Performance Hall and streaming. For nearly a century, psychology and neurobiology have evolved along separate paths, but progress in both areas is beginning to unite them. This week, we will discuss in more depth some of the higher functions introduced in weeks two and three. Because this area is so broad and varied, we will present it as “movie night” with several short “Ted talk-style” videos by experts in human behavior. Josh Sanes will briefly introduce and lead a discussion following each one.
